Set a pre dawn alarm to listen to the birds chorus & watch the sunrise upon a new day before heading back inside for a fresh coffee & hot shower. Perhaps you can go for a local walk by letting the children decide whether to go left or right. You may discover new parks or lane ways, a local river or simply enjoy the new streetscapes that you see. Find a beach further along the coast & discover if their fish & chips are as good as your local takeaway.

Take a tour of your city, I can guarantee there will be new discoveries you will be amazed by. From literary & architecture tours, walking & pub tours, ghost tours or even the discovery of your local museums & libraries will provide a better connection to the place you call home.

Have you always dreamed of attending a cooking class in Tuscany? Why not Indulge in a local class? Learn new skills as well as new ingredients & perhaps you may even make new friends. You could also plan a route that will take in local Farmers Markets, bakeries, cheesewrights & wineries for a delicious picnic lunch.
